Camarada’s UNSTOPPABLE 20-21 Season continues with the world premiere of Andres Martin’s trio for flute, violin, and bass. This concert embraces the passion of artists who can’t – and won’t – stop creating and connecting, no matter the circumstances. UNescapable excitement surrounds the artistry of the bass with Astor Piazzolla’s Kicho, written for his fellow quintet member and bassist, Kicho Diaz, and radiant compositions by women composers including Alex Shapiro’s Re: pair for English horn and flute alongside Madeleine Dring’s luminescent trio for flute, oboe, and piano. A tantalizing duet of guitar and piano is also highlighted in an UNcommon performance of Fantasia by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, one of the foremost composers for guitar of the 20th century.

An era of extravagance and exuberant detail. Feel the power in C.P.E. Bach’s rarely heard Double Concerto for harpsichord and piano, along with Vivaldi’s inventive concerto for flute, oboe, bassoon and violin, Delerio Fantastico. Henry Purcell’s ethereal Fairy Queen Suite for strings is complemented with the heavenly Les Boreades Entree to Act IV by Rameau. The evening is crowned with the mastery of Ennio Morricone’s epic and memorable opus, Gabriel’s Oboe.
